Arrival time 7:54 am August 21, 2003 Emma Faye Dafopoulos was born at Ajax/Pickering hospital at 7:54 am August 21, 2003. She was 8 pounds, 15 ounces and 20.5 inches at birth. Kate and Emma are both well and are resting in hospital. Although Kate was scheduled to be induced at 7:30 am her water broke at 5:00 am and we were at the hospital by 6:00 am. By 8:00 am Emma was born. There were no complications to the baby and everything is well. Kate suffered some blood loss and nearly passed out, but after some oxygen and an I.V. she is doing well.
