Directions to Nick & Kate's Cottage

Address: 2824 Fire Route 19, Deer Bay Reach Road, Buckhorn, Ontario Lower Lake Buckhorn

From Toronto:

Take 401 east to Highway 115/35

Take 115/35 North practically to the end

Stay on 115 do not turn off for 35, go past the exit for 7A and past the exit for Peterborough.

At the end of 115 there will be a sign for High 7 East to Ottawa to the right

Follow Highway 7 East to Ottawa for a few miles

Go north (left turn) at Highway 134

Take highway 134 north to the end

At the end of Highway 134 follow onto Highway 28 (to the right)

Follow Highway 28 north past Young's Point and past Clear Lake until Burleigh Falls

Turn left on Highway 36 

Follow Highway 36 (now going west) to Deer Bay Reach Road (about 10km)

If you pass Gallery on the Lake or reach the Town of Buckhorn you've gone too far.

Turn left on Deer Bay Reach Road (big green sign)

Follow Deer Bay Reach Road down to the bottom of the Hill where it turns left.

Continue to the left on Deer Bay Reach Road past Fire Route 14, 15, etc.

Just past the bridge you will come to a sign that says Private Road.

Take the Private Road to get onto Fire Route 19

Fire Route 19 comes to a 'T' splitting to Fire Route 19A on the right and Fire Route 19 on the left.

Go left and continue on Fire Route 19, follow it around the curves and bends

Look for the green and white road sign marked 2824

The Cottage is white and red.
